Ocean Inn

There are people complaining about the room being worn. I stayed here for the beach and affordability. If you want newer rooms they are on this beach. I was very happy with text messages. I believe this is how they offer great prices with limited staff.

I recently stayed at the Ocean Inn in Hollywood, Florida and overall had a very good experience. The rooms were a nice size, clean, and the location was excellent—close to everything I needed. The price was great, and the staff was incredibly helpful and responsive, even offering us a great weekly rate. I also appreciated that there was no security deposit required, which made it even more affordable. The only downside was that some of the appliances in the rooms didn’t always work (microwave, TV, plugs, etc.), and we noticed this across a couple of different rooms. Still, this wasn’t a huge issue given the price point and the great service we received. Overall, I’d rate it 4 stars and would recommend the Ocean Inn for anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location with helpful staff.

Friendliest staff ever! Fun and charming inn with tropical courtyard and abundance of Old Florida charm. Not a big main brand hotel with modern amenities but I wouldn’t trade the experience here for any of it. From the moment I walked in here after a stressful day, instant relaxation. Can’t beat the calming effect of multiple cozy seating areas, under the palms in courtyard. Gas grill that is provided for guest convenience was a nice surprise. Whether staying for a night or few day beach getaway, I would recommend this place to anybody who loves the old school look and feel. Thanks for everything guys!

Easy 5 stars for value. I stayed here as an overnight due to an overnight layover at FLL. Staying by the beach seemed much more pleasant than an airport hotel. It was well worth it. It is at the north end of the beach which is more quite than as you get down into Hollywood Beach proper. I guess that's a downside if you want amenities close. I ended up spending as much on uber getting dinner and such as I did on the room. But I also have crappy knees that were grouchy after an active vacation. So take that for what it's worth. It is definitely not a luxury hotel or resort and if you are expecting that kind of thing, avoid. It's not for you. What it is is a cozy little spot with a great location for the boardwalk and outstanding prices. Currently one downside is construction across the street, which is quite loud during normal business hours.

Best location (away from all the rif-raf of tourists and street people lies hollywood drive’s best hotel. The service is 2nd to none, the clientele is normal every day Americans/normal tourists. Just an awesome hotel, don’t think twice about this gem

Incredible hotel! Clean and welcoming, has working stovetop, bowls, plates and silverware. AC works great, staff were very welcoming. Within easy walking distance of the beach. Clean and safe environment. Very happy with the hotel and my stay.

This Place is a Diamond… Nothing Fancy But Very Nice and Clean … the Staff are very Helpful, I Stay on Room number 13 .. it was a King size with a Small bathroom, Refrigerator and a Coffee Maker, this Hotel is most likely one of the First hotels in the Hollywood Florida Area, Just a Very Short Walk to the Atlantic Ocean and the Board Walk … with lots of restaurants, Entertainment and that ocean View is the Best … the only Thing is the Parking is $20 per day and the Spaces are very Tight … but you are within walking Distance of many Places along the Ocean Beach Boardwalk.. I would Highly Recommend this place to stay to my Family and Friends… The Staff is amazing Friendly and Helpful

Great affordable hotel! It's right on the water the room was like a studio apt which was super nice. It's old but perfectly clean and a great place to stay for a couple nightz

I was comfortable and felt like I could just enjoy the ocean and it's literally a 2 minutes walk to the ocean in a beach where you feel like you have a private beach all to yourself. It's so beautiful and I felt so welcome and invited, you can't beat that kind of comfort with fancy anything... They could update a little bit then they would need to start charging higher prices.. you choose..

To be in hollywood florida can be an expensive experience but not here. Such a diamond in the rough. Staying 2 min walk to the beach is a blessing. This hotel is the perfect place to stay for a week or before your cruise. Good for you if your visiting the hollywood strip solo, as a couple or a family. The rooms are older, prob can use renovations as they are a little dated but have the essentials you need at the price point so it was a value. The AC worked fine. You just need to adjust it to your comfort level. The support line was very responsive, helpful and they let us in our room early. The rooms were clean. No roaches, lizards or bugs. I would say this was a positive experience. If your looking to stay here the night before your cruise then you found your bargin place. If your well-to-do and are expecting a rich person experience then this is not for you.
